2008 was the year to remember the start of World Vision’s ministry in Armenia, and the past 20 years it has contributed to the well being of boys and girls, men and women in this country.

World Vision came to Armenia in response to the devastating earthquake of 1988. Since then our projects have gone beyond meeting the demands of crisis situations by launching its first Area Development Programme in Gyumri.

Today, World Vision works in 150 communities in 6 marzes and the capital Yerevan, undertaking development projects for thousands of children and their families.
